The project “C'era una volta... e ancora ci sarà... il fischietto!” is designed and built by 10 young of the association "Network di Formazione Socio-Ambientale" and it was implemented in the Town of Lucugnano, Tricase (Lecce), during 9 months.
Projects
The methods adopted were based on non formal education, active participation, learning by doing.
The main objectives of the project were: active citizenship, transmission of traditional knowledge and skills between older and younger, youth creativity and youth entrepreneurship in the field of culture, handicraft and tourism.
The project was funded by the European Programme "Youth in Action" - Action 1.2.
The project was divided into 3 phases:
1) Preparation of partecipants
-Trainig group and preparation of 10 young participants to activities through the method of role playing.
2) Research, Laboratories and Fair
-Historical research on the evolution of the clay of Lucugnano and Tricase: we interviewedpottersand collectors. The testimonieshave developedan intergenerational exchange.
-Laboratory of manipulation and construction of clay’s whistles that involved young people and adults.
- Fair of whistles organized by 10 young participants. The fair included an exhibition of whistles made during the laboratory, stalls of artisans and collectors interviewed and interactives laboratories where people can build their own whistle.
3) Final valuation, dissemination of results and follow-up
